Join us at the Holladay Distillery for Bourbon School!

Michael Veach, Bourbon historian and Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee, is bringing the Bourbon Country Institute to Weston, Missouri! The curriculum will cover the history of bourbon as well as education on whiskey tasting. Michael will break down the differences between various classifications of whiskey, bourbon, and brandy. Students will sample a total of nine different whiskeys throughout the session.

The duration of the class will last approximately six hours and will conclude with a celebratory Holladay Toast upon graduation. Lunch will be provided and students will walk away with a Bourbon Country Institute “diploma” and a Holladay Distillery swag bag.

Michael Veach was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2006.  He’s written and contributed to five books and is the foremost authority on bourbon history. In addition to this he is the former Filson Historical Society Bourbon Historian. Michael has provided bourbon history education in many different forms over the years. He owns his own bourbon consulting company, Bourbon Veach LLC.

$125 per person – includes the bourbon class, a celebratory Holladay Toast, lunch, Bourbon Country Institute “diploma” and a Holladay Distillery swag bag.
